Abstract. Beekeeping is holding its interest on european an national level by honey yield increased demands for export (European Union) and for the internal plan, but especially for "bio" honey, a real medicine.
There is also a higher interest for bee products with their double role as food and medicine, and also for the pollination effect on agricultural crops.
The objectives of Romanian agriculture integration in European Union are closed to the increasing of the bees' families number and also of the honey yield, concomitant to the bee products and honey quality increasing.
The Romanian beekeeping would assure the bee products quality at the European Union demands level.
